About the Organization

StARS, based in the heart of Cairo, offers volunteers a unique experience working closely with Egypt's large refugee community. Volunteers mentor and tutor children, offer language and skills classes to adults, assist with psychosocial or legal counseling, or help run community events, making a meaningful difference in refugees' lives.
